Now that curbside snow mounds are melting, the city has announced its dates for spring bulk trash collections.
- April 8 for the portion of Allentown in the Ellicott Council District
- April 15 for the bulk of the neighborhood in the Fillmore Council District
- April 22 for the sliver in the Niagara Council District.

Trash should go out on Sunday for collection sometime that week. The pile can be as large as 12 feet long, 3 feet high and 3 feet wide. No TVs, computers or other electronics, nor any hazardous waste is allowed. If possible, keep your yard waste separate. Electronics can be dropped off at 1120 Seneca St. any weekday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or the first Saturday of each month 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tires can be dropped off 8 a.m. to 3 p.m April 21 or May 26 at the Broadway Garage, 197 Broadway.
