Now that curbside snow mounds are melting, the city has announced its dates for spring bulk trash collections.
- April 12 for the portion of Allentown in the Ellicott Council District
- April 19 for the bulk of the neighborhood in the Fillmore district
- April 26 for the sliver in the Niagara district.
Trash should go out on Sunday for collection sometime that week. The pile can be as large as 12 feet long, 3 feet high and 3 feet wide. No TVs, computers or other electronics, nor any hazardous waste is allowed.
Electronics can be dropped off at 1120 Seneca St. any weekday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or the first Saturday of each month 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tires can be dropped off 8 a.m. to 3 p.m April 25 or May 30 at the Broadway Garage, 197 Broadway.
