Help Shape the Future of Allentown’s New Public Space

The Allentown Association invites you to help define what makes Allentown Allentown—and to imagine how we can bring that identity to life in our new community space. Join your neighbors for Visioning Workshops for the space at 169 Allen Street. Through creative games and activities, along with informal gatherings, we’re gathering input for a new kind of public space—one rooted in Allentown’s identity, inclusive for all, and designed with play in mind.

All Allentown residents, artists, business owners and employees, and friends of the neighborhood are encouraged to attend

Visioning Workshops

About our Creative Consultant

These workshops will be led by Joy Kuebler, a licensed landscape architect and founder of PLAYCE, an award-winning engagement studio that uses the power of play to bring people together and generate creative, community-driven solutions. With Joy’s guidance through games and playful activities, we’ll explore what Allentown means to us, how we envision using the space, and how playful, inclusive design can serve everyone in the neighborhood. Participants can join both or either of the workshops and are not required to be at both to share input.

Coffee on the Lot

We will be hosting informal info sessions before, between, and after the main workshops to keep everyone informed and connected throughout the process. Drop in for a relaxed morning of hot drinks and casual conversation. Learn more about the workshop process, the space, ask questions, and connect with neighbors. Kids, dogs, and curiosity welcome!
