This house is a virtual textbook example of the Italianate style. The first floor features segmented arched windows, while the second floor and gable has round arched windows. Paired scroll-pendant brackets under the eaves and tall exterior chimney stacks complete the look.
This house was owned from the 1870s onward by Adam Meister, a customs house worker.
